Happy 2007!

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a great New Year's Celebration. We certainly did. Not only was it New Year's, but it was the one year anniversary of moving into our house! During the 2006 New Year we were asleep by 11pm because we'd been moving since 6am, but this year, we made up for it!

We had a fabulous celebration at the M Bed and Breakfast with some of our best friends. J made a drunken chicken (yum-o!!), I made twice baked potatoes, and seven layer candy (my grandmother's recipe!). We also had tons of other snack goodies, chips and dips, cookies, etc. On top of a variety of other drinks, we had Sparkling Festivas which was my own concoction of wine punch and it fabulous if I say so myself! We're so blessed to have such great friends and ringing in the New Year with them was simply wonderful!

So does anyone make New Year's Resolutions anymore? I know I didn't make any last year, and I'm not sure when was the last time I made them. I just couldn't think of anything last year and really haven't put any thought into doing it this year. (I did resolve to "quit smoking" one year which was super easy since I've never touched a cigarette in my life!) I know my friend Liz has quit the resolutions and now makes mission statements. Hmm, I'll need to inquire more on that one, the PR in me will love that. Perhaps I'll make goals for 2007. Maybe a 2007 to-do list since we all know how much I love to make lists. (Further proof found here, here, here, here, here,......). I've always considered making a "Life List" of all the things you'd like to do, accomplish, achieve, etc. during your lifetime. I feel like I should have done this years ago, but perhaps 2007 would be a good place to start.

What does everyone else do? Resolutions? Anti-resolutions? Missions Statements? Goals? Lists? Something else?

I see you lurking there....just click the little comment button and have some conversation.

I made an uberlist, which is way too long but was fun to make nonetheless. It is not depressing, promise.
